Pakistan denies US access to Bin Laden’s widows and compound

Pakistan has denied United States access to Bin Laden’s widows and his compound in Abbottabad.

According to a report published by a US newspaper, Pakistan’s denial increased tension between the two sides. The White House itself confirmed that Pakistan had denied the US access to Bin Laden’s widows and his compound in Abbottabad

. Obama administration said that the US was trying to remove the hurdles and take steps forward in the matter.

It is pertinent to mention here that the US commandos, after killing Osama, left his widows and most of the stuff, found in his compound, behind; which are now in Pakistan’s custody.
