A few months ago I was working on finding if google/youtube temper with view count well i finally have found the proof now
here is the snap shot for that
The view has 301 views but its like and dislike total more than 549 which just show suppression by google/youtube
Now YouTube also suppresses "like" votes. We see this most often on videos regarding the Occupy Wall Street movement.
ReplyDeleteSome savvy users are giving irrelevant tittle and tag-words to counter-act this disturbing clandestine censorship. For instance, a popular channel might upload a video on Occupy Wall Street, but title it about "cooking" or "recipes." Then in the tag-word search-terms, they are careful to NOT include the words "Occupy" or "Wall Street."
If the channel is popular and has many subscribers, you can see the view count quickly go over 500 or several thousand views.
As soon as the comment section includes the terms "Occupy Wall Street" you might notice the view count suddenly drops to below 300. Obviously, no one can "un-watch" a video, so this can only be attributed to intentional view-count suppression.
To understand the political bias of whoever is controlling this blatant suppression you need only observe the type of videos that are suppressed.
