I am A human being
Centuries have gone by
&
I’m still lost in the spirals of sadness
I cry for the unknown
&
Fear the known
I regret what I’ve done
&
Fantasize what fail to do
I long for the love I never had
Neglecting the affection I receive
In the conquest of conquering what is not destined for me
I kill all that is only mine
Never looking at all that I had
I overlook the beauties right in front of me,
To search for those far beyond the horizon
I’m everything
&
yet nothing
I understand the most, just not myself
I’m ME in search of ME
Because
I’m a
HUMAN BEING
